Solidarity with McStrike in the UK

Posted on Posted in Effat

As you have seen from EFFAT news, press and social media, fast food workers in Cambridge and Crayford are on the first ever strike at McDonald’s in the UK, demanding 10 £/hour real minimum wage, an end to zero hours contracts and trade union recognition. The UK Bakers, Food and Allied Workers Union (BFAWU), organising fast food workers in Britain and supporting the strikers in their fight, is welcoming any solidarity messages, as well as any material and financial support to their industrial action. Solidarity messages should be sent to: fastfoodrights@mail.com.
